Immune-Boosting Fire Cider Recipe

Fire cider is a traditional herbal remedy known for its immune-boosting and anti-inflammatory properties. Making fire cider at home is a simple and cost-effective way to enhance your wellness routine.

Equipment

  • glass jar (1/2 gallon)
  • cutting board
  • sharp knife
  • colander
  • fine sieve or cheesecloth
  • rubber gloves

Ingredients
  

  • 2 sprigs Thyme (fresh)
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary (fresh)
  • 2 Jalapeno (diced)
  • 1 large Onion (diced)
  • 1/2 cup Ginger (coarsely chopped)
  • 1 cup Horseradish (shredded or sliced)
  • 10 Garlic Cloves (peeled, but can leave whole)
  • 1 Lemon (sliced)
  • 1 Lime (sliced)
  • 1 Orange (sliced)
  • 1 1/2 cups Cranberries
  • 1/4 cup Fresh turmeric (or 1 TBSP ground)
  • 1/4 cup Rosehips
  • Raw Apple Cider Vinegar*
  • Raw Honey**

Notes

*You will need enough Apple Cider Vinegar to cover all the ingredients in the jar so they don't spoil.
**You will need between 1/4 to 1/2 a cup, depending on your taste preference
