Homemade Italian Seasoning Blend Better Than Store-Bought

This homemade Italian seasoning blend is quick, flavorful, and made with simple dried herbs. Perfect for pasta, pizza, marinades, and our Golden Italian Dressing and Homemade Pizza Sauce.

Equipment

  • Small mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Airtight container, spice jar, or small mason jar
  • mortar and pestle or food processor (for finer texture) optional

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Add all the dried herbs to a small bowl.
  • Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
  • Crush slightly for a finer texture.
  • Transfer to an airtight container.

Store in an airtight container or small jar.

    Keep in a cool, dark place (like a pantry or spice cabinet).

      Avoid heat and moisture.
