DIY Foaming Hand Soap: A Natural Solution for Working Hands

This DIY Foaming Hand Soap is a natural, moisturizing blend designed for hardworking hands. It’s tough enough to clean up after chores, yet gentle enough for daily use, making it safe for the whole family — even little ones.

Equipment

  • A 16-ounce glass foaming hand soap dispenser (glass is best for essential oils)
  • .A small funnel (for easy pouring)
  • Measuring cups and droppers.

Materials

  • ½ cup liquid castile soap
  • 1-2 teaspoons carrier oil of choice Vitamin E, fractionated coconut oil, jojoba oil, or grapeseed oil
  • 10 drops doTERRA Abode essential oil blend
  • 5 drops doTERRA Wild Orange essential oil
  • 5 drops doTERRA OnGuard essential oil blend
  • Filtered or distilled water to fill the bottle to the neck

Instructions

  • Add Castile Soap – Pour ½ cup castile soap into your 16-ounce foaming dispenser.
  • Add Carrier Oils – Mix in 1–2 teaspoons of your chosen carrier oil (Vitamin E, coconut, jojoba, or grapeseed) for extra skin nourishment.
  • Add Essential Oils – Drop in Abode, Wild Orange, and OnGuard oils.
  • Top with Water – Fill the bottle with filtered water, leaving about 1 inch at the top.
  • Shake Gently – Secure the pump and swirl to combine.
  • Use as Needed – One pump is plenty for deep cleaning and moisturizing working hands.
